Royal Brunei Airlines has appointed Adiel Mambara as its new UK country manager.
Mambara, who has been with the airline for a decade, will take up the role after being promoted from UK sales and marketing manager.
Royal Brunei said Mambara would be tasked with growing the carrier’s business class customer base and increasing its market share in key destinations.
His duties will also include focusing on an “innovative new product" which had been designed for small and medium-sized businesses.
Mambara said: “I’m very pleased to be able to take on the role of UK country manager for Royal Brunei Airlines. We continue to enjoy great support and commitment from our UK trade partners and, as we enter 2017, we will be targeting niche market segments through unique projects to grow this further.
“All of these projects will put passenger comfort and warm Bruneian hospitality at their heart, reinforcing the values for which we have become known.”
