A British couple holidaying in Rhodes allegedly attempted to leave a restaurant without paying after claiming they believed the entire island was all-inclusive.
The owner of the diner told local paper Dimokratiki that the holidaymakers had enjoyed their meal and complimented the food and service.
When he reminded the pair to pay the bill they responded by showing their resort wristbands – thinking their all-inclusive package covered the whole of the island.
After a brief discussion, the unnamed couple agreed to pay after making a short trip to the cash point, the Daily Mail reports.
The restaurateur claimed to Dimokratiki this it was not the first time an incident like that had occurred.
