The most prestigious event in the travel industry calendar. Every September TTG hosts more than 750 agents and suppliers at the Lyceum Theatre to honour the very best of service in the sector, followed by a glitzy aftershow party at The Savoy. Sponsorship opportunities include both agent and supplier categories, goody bags, after-party, drinks reception, photo booth and much more!
Now in its second year, TTG's Top 50 Travel Agencies seeks out the best 50 regional travel agents in the UK and Ireland. This event honours the best travel sellers in the land and provides a very strong platform for supplier brand awareness and networking with the industry's creme de la creme. Sponsorship opportunities include our regional and national agent categories, prize giveaways and much more!
Bringing together the most upmarket travel brands with the agents who can deliver their products to a discerning consumer base, our luxury event portfolio includes our extremely popular one-to-one networking events, Luxpo London (Spring and Autumn) and three regional Luxpo events. Another key element of our portfolio is the ttgluxury Seminar, held in London once a year. Designed to keep the industry up to date with the latest trends, it is hosted by our esteemed ttgluxury editor, April Hutchinson, and brings together a range of fascinating and informative speakers, as well as providing a fantastic networking opportunity.
Spearheaded by news editor Sophie Griffiths since 2014, the TTG Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) initiative aims to develop a greater industry understanding of this market and how to serve it, and to provide networking opportunities for LGBT travel professionals and allies. The initiative has gone from strength to strength and includes evening networking events, both in London and regionally, and an annual conference, held in London every July.
New for 2017 will be the LGBT Marketplace which is a chance for specialist suppliers to network and discuss their product with delegates. Marketplace will include 10 suppliers, who will be given separate areas to feature and discuss their specialist offering for the LGBT community.
On July 3, TTG Media will host the industry’s first Travel Pride – a summer party, celebrating LGBT people and allies in the industry, with canapés, cocktails and entertainment.
TTG's Big Night Out regional travel agent events are where you can meet agents for our special quiz night, with networking, games and product training all in a fun-filled atmosphere.
These events present the perfect opportunity for suppliers to meet with front-line regional agents and to showcase products and techniques and best practices for delivering them to consumers. For 2017 we will have four tours spanning the length and breadth of the UK - in March, June, November and December.
After the success of TTG's "30 Under 30" scheme, the Tomorrow's Travel Leaders conference was launched in 2014 to help the brightest and most promising young business people in the travel industry develop and take the next step in their careers.
Starting with our Brexit debate back in April, 2016 saw TTG launch a series of debates on issues facing the travel trade, including ‘Atol, Abta and all that…is regulation becoming obsolete?’ and ‘the high cost of the low cost holidays collapse’. Get in touch to find out about plans for 2017.
