REPORTS TO: Head of Product & Commercial

 

Support the “Cities & Resorts” Team with all aspects of the administration of its product offerings.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Attraction World is the UK’s largest provider of theme park tickets, sightseeing tours, worldwide attractions, theatre and lots of other fun things to do in the UK and abroad. At the heart of our 60 person business in Kings Norton, Birmingham is our Product Team, who reach out to the best attractions across the world, negotiating fantastic rates for our trade partners.

 

We now have a vacancy for an administrator to join our Cities & Resorts Team and assist in all aspects of the product administration from loading prices in our systems to setting up competitive pricing and packages, competitor analysis, processing stop sales, amending product information and lots more. It isn’t always glamourous but it’s very important (and always fun!) - so only those with the perfect blend of attention to detail, a good memory and a flair for understanding complex commercial propositions (plus a good sense of humour!) should apply.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Overall administration of the product offering; this includes loading rates in our system, pricing product, competitor analysis, updating website copy, ad-hoc supplier changes, producing reports, processing stop sales and compiling our best offers.
  • Communication with suppliers, agents and stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation and service records for our suppliers.

Must Haves:

 

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive and enthusiastic team player.
  • High level of written and spoken English.
  • Competence with MS Outlook/ Excel/Word.
  • Highly numerical and analytical.
  • Good memory!
  • Good planning & organisational abilities – able to prioritise conflicting demands and working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to continuing business changes and challenges.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with all staff and with suppliers worldwide.

  • Experience in Travel & Tourism
  • Experience of negotiation with suppliers.
  • Experience in the administration of both new and existing clients
