The Lyceum Theatre is a fabulous West End theatre steeped in history, on Wellington Street just between the Strand and Covent Garden.
There has been a theatre with this name in the locality since 1765 - the present site, designed by Samuel Beazley, opened on 14 July 1834 and was unique in that it had a balcony overhanging the circle.
Currently home to the West End production of The Lion King, the TTG Travel Awards one of only a select handful of other events that can call the venue home.
Situated in the heart of the West End, the Savoy is London’s defining luxury hotel. East is the City, West is Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Westminster, while on the doorstep is Covent Garden.
The Savoy’s pas has given it a unique complexion of Edwardian and Art Deco styles which endure today, authentically expressed in the hotel’s resorted design and décor.
The stars have always loved the hotel, including many early Hollywood greats such as Katharine Hepburn, Clark Gable, Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe – who now rank alongside the stars of the travel industry as fans of the venue!
