The Macao Government Tourism Office is offering travel agents the chance to win an activity tracker each week from December 4, 2017 to January 31, 2018 by taking online training or making bookings to the destination

With Step Out, Macao travel agents now have the chance to win an activity tracker and track their very own steps around Macao, the world and home.

Activity trackers

One winner will be chosen every seven days from the week commencing December 4, 2017, to the week commencing January 29, 2018, so agents have not one, but nine chances to win.

There are two ways to enter:

Simply go to and complete and pass a module of the Macao Specialist online training programme between December 4, 2017, and January 31, 2018, to be entered into the weekly prize draw. Already completed a module? You’re automatically entered!

Once agents are all clued up on what Macao has to offer, they can put their skills to the test to make a booking. All agents that log a booking HERE between December 4, 2017, and January 31, 2018, will be entered into the weekly prize draw.

More about the modules

Macao Specialist is the Macao Government Tourism Office’s well-established online training programme, designed to educate agents about the destination’s key selling points. The programme, which has been refreshed with new imagery and video content to enhance the learning process, has four sections:

Focus on facts

Here agents will find general information about Macao, including how to get there, what the climate is like, an introduction to its history and details of its extensive event programme.

Rules of attraction

This covers Macao’s key tourist attractions, such as the Unesco-listed Historic Centre and Giant Panda Pavilion in Coloane.

Style of stays

Explaining the wide range of things that visitors to Macao can spend their time doing, this encompasses eating, shopping, nightlife and adrenaline activities, such as bungee jumping from the Macau Tower.

Practical purposes

The “be an expert” section provides practical information for agents, including accommodation options, suggested itineraries, and links to useful websites and mobile apps.
