Now in its third year, the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative has once again inspired retailers across the UK and Ireland to come forward and have their excellence recognised.
More than 900 branches and companies registered to take part for 2018, with 90 going through to the final of our rigorous judging process, in which our editorial team personally visited or video-interviewed every single finalist.
One of the most unusual aspects of our TTG Top 50 scheme is that we don’t recognise agents based on volume alone. Customer service, innovation and supporting the local community are just as important in earning a place in the prestigious list.
This makes being named in the TTG Top 50 more meaningful for your customers, and we’ve been overwhelmed to see the extent to which finalists have embraced the TTG Top 50 brand inside and outside their stores and online. And even better, to see how being shortlisted in 2018 has already helped some finalists win new business and raise their local profile.
In the pages of this shortlist magazine you can meet all 90 of our incredible finalists, to find out more about their businesses and catch up on what they’ve done in the last 12 months. And while only 50 might ultimately make it into the list, all 90 have already achieved something quite special by being shortlisted.
As the TTG Top 50 initiative has gathered momentum, so too has the ceremony itself, with the event on April 26 set to welcome around 550 guests. More suppliers have shown support for the event than ever before, and the best news of all: the ceremony takes place on a Thursday this year!
