While there are thousands of reasons to visit the US, we’ve selected 20 that will give you the ammunition you need to create a fun-packed, family-friendly holiday itinerary.
Around 10 years ago I made a new life goal: to visit every state in America. A decade later, two epic road trips and a few memory-making city breaks have brought my running total up to 14. Selling me a holiday in the US would be as easy as selling candy to a child. But not all clients looking to travel to the US have such an impulsive attitude. And that’s where this guide comes in.
While there are thousands of reasons to visit the US, we’ve selected 20 that will give you the ammunition you need to create a fun-packed, family-friendly holiday itinerary. From theme parks in Florida and fly-drives in Oregon to Wild West cowboy holidays in Wyoming and snowy activities in Alaska, there really is something here to entertain clients of all ages and budgets.
We’ve also spoken to Visit USA chairman Jonathan Sloan, who explains that the US isn’t phased by Trump or a weak pound.
Instead, there’s more airlift to a number of American cities and new routes launching left, right and centre. This means I’ll be happily heading there to tick off more of the remaining 36 states on one of the new routes, and explains why your clients should be too.
Towards the back of this guide you’ll find essential information, fun facts and top tips from those in the know about the US.
Whether you’re looking to brush up on your state knowledge, learn about new hotels or find out about soon-to-launch attractions, I hope that this guide will point you, and your clients, in the right direction.
