USA 2017: Week-long itinerary ideas

This year marked the fifth anniversary of the Brand USA MegaFam, which took place in May over seven simultaneous itineraries.


Nearly one thousand agents registered their international flight bookings from the UK and Ireland, and as our largest MegaFam to date, together with American Airlines and British Airways, we hosted 107 agents.

We were thrilled to have this opportunity to once again showcase the diversity of our country and the experiences which can be enjoyed here, and to equip travel agents with first-hand knowledge and confidence to better sell the USA as a premier travel destination.

In partnership with both the airlines and our destination partners, Brand USA created seven unique itineraries to showcase the USA to, through, and beyond our gateways.

From exciting cities to the great outdoors, the groups enjoyed diverse landscapes and a range of experiences.

Each itinerary showcased the variety of experiences the USA offers, including the unique neighbourhoods in our cities and small towns, the excitement of our urban cultural experiences, and the breath-taking beauty of our national parks and great outdoors.

Having enjoyed the rhythm and soul of New Orleans, digging for diamonds in national parks, kayaking the Great Lakes, the roar of the Indianapolis 500, boat trips, horse-riding and much, much more, all agents flew to Chicago, Illinois for an unforgettable finale. Here, agents not only experienced the unforgettable architecture, history, and culture of the Windy City, they also came together to share their newfound knowledge and experiences from across the USA.
