When we launched TTG’s Top 50 Travel Agencies initiative at the end of last year, we were blown away by the number of you that were keen to be recognised in this exciting new power-list of the best agencies in the business.
With more than 500 different agencies and branches registered for the scheme, our panel of trade suppliers from across the travel industry had their work cut out for them, rating the agencies they work with to decide who deserved a place in the shortlist.
We’re confident our unique rating process has allowed not only those agencies that deliver the biggest volume, but also those that have shown the most growth, the most innovation, and the most commitment to working in partnership, to really shine through.
The next stage of the initiative will see us hit the road to visit the 50 high street stores across the UK and Ireland, and also judge the 30 shortlisted nationwide agencies, to find out what makes those agencies tick. This process will decide the 50 businesses which ultimately join the Top 50 list, which will be revealed at a ceremony at Birmingham’s new Vox Centre on April 25.
You’ll also find details of some newly announced categories, which will see us highlight the most impressive retail space we visit and the most inspiring business development ideas we learn about. There’s also news of an exciting charity initiative that could see your favourite local or national charity be our official charity partner on the night.
