Capacity boost
Jet2 and Jet2holidays have boosted their summer 2020 programme from Glasgow airport with 300,000 more seats than last year.
Jet2 will also debut a weekly service to Costa de Almeria from May, and another to Krakow this summer.
New way to sell
Singapore Airlines’ KrisConnect new distribution capacity (NDC) programme will launch in the UK this September offering agents access to a wider range of fares, improved speed to market and the ability to customise and bundle products.
A touch of class
Cathay Pacific has upgraded its first and business class offering with a new collaboration with luxury UK brand Bamford, which has developed an exclusive range of amenities, travel kits and bedding for clients in these cabins.

Canadian connection
WestJet is debuting a direct flight from Manchester to Halifax from June 2020.
The four-times-weekly service will be operated by a Boeing 737-700 aircraft with an estimated flight time of six hours to reach the Canadian port city.
Transatlantic adventure
From 1 June, British Airways will operate a direct flight from Heathrow to Portland, Oregon, with five services a week in summer and four in winter.
Return fares in World Traveller start from £459pp.
Auf Wiedersehen, pet...
Lufthansa has launched a new flight from Newcastle to Munich.
The six-times- weekly service departs every day except Saturday, with return fares from £86pp. Clients can also connect from Munich to Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
Oh, Vienna!
Austrian Airlines has launched flights from Birmingham to Vienna, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The services will increase to daily from summer 2020, with onward connections to Asia available.
Clean car-diff
Cardiff airport has installed electric vehicle charging points, the first steps in a bid to become carbon neutral.
The partnership with Franklin Energy sees nine charging ports installed across the staff, meet- and-greet and short-stay car parks.
Turkish delight
Pegasus Airlines has expanded its network with new flights to Medina, served by flights from Stansted and Manchester via Istanbul (on sale now), and Batumi via Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen from Stansted (launching 29 March).
