DESERT DELIGHTS

Visitors to Jordan will be able to experience a new attraction at Petra from this month. The New Museum of Petra, constructed next to the archaeological site, has eight galleries containing more than 300 artefacts.

Barcelo Hotel Group is opening a Royal Hideaway property in Dubai. It will take over the management of Dukes Dubai and operate it as the five-star Royal Hideaway. It features 279 rooms and 287 apartments and an outdoor infinity pool.
FLIGHT CLUB
Etihad Airways is adding 20 roundtrip flights between Abu Dhabi and Heathrow from 5 April 2019. Visitors to the city will also be able to experience a section of the Presidential Palace, the newly opened Qasr Al Watan.
ROOM WITH A VIEW
Gold Medal has added the JA Lake View Hotel to its Pure Luxury portfolio. Opening in September 2019, it features a gastropub and a rooftop lounge. The operator has three nights with flights from £879pp for travel 1-19 September 2019.
LOVE FOR LEBANON
Explore has a new eight-day Highlights of Lebanon tour. Standout experiences include a visit to archaeological sites and a stay in an eco-lodge. Priced from £1,350pp with flights, the tour departs 21 September, 12 October and 9 November 2019.
QATAR FOR KIDS
A KidZania theme park has opened in Qatar. The Doha-based attraction features more than 60 fun activities based on real-life jobs, including police officers, firefighters and doctors.
