The event is an industry first, celebrating diversity and inclusion within the industry, and is for everyone – both LGBT people and allies - with canapés, cocktails, entertainment and dancing.
The night also featured a musical cabaret show hosted by international cabaret performer Paul L Martin – a regular host at London’s Café de Paris and The Hippodrome and described as the “The Cabaret Don” by Time Out and “King of Cabaret” by theatre industry magazine The Stage.
Commenting on the launch of Travel Pride, Sophie Griffiths, TTG editor said: “TTG LGBT has grown from strength-to-strength since its inception in 2015, and its evening networking events have become must attends for both LGBT people and allies throughout travel.
“We wanted to celebrate the embracing of diversity and inclusion in the industry, and Travel Pride is designed to be just that - a fun celebration where LGBT people and allies can party the night away, with cocktails, canapés and brilliant entertainment.”
The Florida Keys and Key West is a proud headline Sponsor of TTG's Travel Pride 2017 promoting its official "One Human Family" philosophy with the UK travel trade. Known for years as one of the top LGBTQ holiday destinations in the world, the Florida Keys and Key West have ignored stereotypes and refused to see boundaries for centuries. Key West has always been one of the truly authentic accepting come-as-you-are places in the world where LGBTQ visitors could express their creativity, their freedom, and their love. More than 280,000 LGBTQ vacationers travel to the Florida Keys and Key West each year, and for good reason--some of the best, most creative annual events there include Key West Pride in June, Tropical Heat in August, Womenfest in September and the always amazing Fantasy Fest in October. This July come and find out why we say "Key West is close to perfect, but far from normal!"
