ODL is aimed at supporting services specifically for older Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people in the UK, by developing networks and communities for LGBT people aged 50 and over.

Geoff Boyd, Opening Doors ambassador said the charity helped the older LGBT generation to “feel part of an network of older LGBT people coming together to help each other keep connected and not isolated.”

The charity also offers specialist training and consultancy for statutory and voluntary organisations such as care homes, housing associations and hospitals, to help them understand the needs of older LGBT people.

At least 5% of all ticket sold for Travel Pride will go towards ODL.

Travel Pride, is a summer party, celebrating diversity in the travel industry. Tickets will include a cocktail, canapés and cabaret hosted by international cabaret performer Paul L Martin.

The event will follow the TTG LGBT Conference in the day.
