What is a Travel Pride Champion?

Travel Pride Champions is a scheme recognising individuals in the travel industry who are striving to improve the focus on diversity and inclusion in the sector.

How does it work?

Individuals can either nominate themselves or be nominated by others, and should explain in no more than 150 words why they think they deserve to be named a Travel Pride Champion. Their submission must mention the work they have done to improve the focus on diversity and inclusion (D&I) – either within their own business or with their customers.

The changes that they have driven don’t have to be large. Even starting a conversation about D&I in a business can be a significant step.

Who can apply?

Individuals from junior to middle management level are particularly encouraged to put themselves forward.
