Launched last year, Luxury Travel Week is a unique celebration of a niche that continues to grow within the wider industry.
Taking place October 15-21, Luxury Travel Week also highlights TTG Media’s dedication to the sector via its extensive portfolio of regular luxury coverage in TTG, a dedicated high-quality quarterly magazine, events for agents, an awards programme and a conference.
“From our base as one of the most respected luxury travel trade brands in the UK, we’re delighted to do even more to bring people together from across the sector, and provide even more luxury travel content and talking points,” said Daniel Pearce, managing director of TTG Media.
With ttgluxury about to enter its 10th year of organising luxury travel conferences, Luxury Travel Week 2018 will see the launch of the ttgluxury Summit, a must-attend full-day event for anyone keen to understand current trends and opportunities.
Also during the week will be the launch of the shortlist of the ttgluxury Travel Awards 2019, which made their debut as an initiative last year.
Meanwhile, in response to industry feedback, the one-to-one agent and supplier event Luxpo has been expanded for this year, and will now be a full-day gathering with lunch and more time given to each meeting.
There will also be a special luxury ‘takeover’ of TTG during Luxury Travel Week and a social media campaign around #LuxuryTravelWeek and #LTW.
“We launched ttgluxury in 2007, followed by a growing portfolio of luxury-focused initiatives, as we could see there was a need for products that would service those agents and suppliers who are dedicated to providing a luxury level of products and services,” said April Hutchinson, editor of ttgluxury. “That need continues and we are delighted to continue providing products that help agents stay one step ahead in the luxury game."
