Carrier launches winter sports programme

Carrier’s 2018/19 Let it Snow programme features traditional skiing holidays in Europe and North America alongside recommendations on the best experiences both on and off the slopes, including more unusual accommodation options such as staying in a tree house in Lapland.

The campaign highlights events such as the Zermatt Unplugged acoustic music festival, which will be held in the Swiss mountain resort in April 2019, as well as on-slope options such as ski safaris around the Dolomites region of the Italian Alps.

Other activities include receiving tuition from an Olympian skier or snowboarder in the Canadian resort of Whistler, while the W Verbier hotel offers yoga classes before and after hitting the slopes.

Mark Duguid, Carrier’s managing director, said: “Let it Snow is brimming with inspiration and ideas for the upcoming winter season.

“Ski and snow continues to be a key segment of our overall business and we continually strive to remain at the forefront when it comes to offering our clients new and exciting experiences and state-of-the art accommodation.”

As well as the mini-brochure, the campaign also includes extra winter sports content on Carrier’s website.

The programme features advice on which hotels and experiences need to be booked well in advance, as well as a range of offers including savings on accommodation plus free room upgrades and nights. There are also recommendations for the best hotels for families.

Other sections include an update on luxury ski developments and a round-up of the latest innovations in leading resorts.
