The company has taken its staff on a holiday to the island to thank them for helping the firm have its most successful financial year.
The group includes ITC Luxury Travel, ITC Sports Travel and Deva and to thank the staff for their performace, chief executive Jennifer Atkinson decided to take them on the trip to the island.
Of the 108 people employed by the three companies, 87 took the trip, with ITC covering the cost of flights, accommodation and food and drink.
Atkinson said: “It was an utter pleasure to be able to take the team to Tenerife for two days. As a company, we ‘work hard play hard’ and I truly believe that when you recognise hard work as a business you get the very best from your employees.”
ITC staff stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama on the west coast of the island, a resort whose A-list fans include Penelope Cruz and Bill Clinton.
Staff were also treated to a gala awards dinner to recognise staff who had “gone above and beyond in their roles”.
Established in 1974, ITC has offices in Harrogate and Preston, as well as destination offices in Barbados, Antigua and Cape Town.
The ITC Luxury Travel Group has recently also grown with its acquisition of Western & Oriental, Rainbow Tours, Villa Select and Regent Holidays earlier this year.
ITC was also named a Top 100 Small Company to Work For in the Sunday Times awards this year, the fourth consecutive time for the group.
