Representatives from andBeyond’s key regions, Africa, Asia and South America, met with agents at St James’ Court and Chester’s Oddfellows and Didsbury House hotels to brief them on the company’s latest product news and conservation projects.

Highlights included an update on the Ngala Safari Lodge, which is to open a three-storey treehouse accommodation option this December, plans to construct lodges on either side of Patagonia in Argentina and Chile and andBeyond’s first property in Bhutan.

The Punakha River Lodge, which will comprise nine rooms on 50 acres of land, is slated for an October 2020 opening.

Suhail Gupta, managing director - Asia, said: “We want to make this property activity-focused, with kayaking, fishing excursions, picnic outings and farm visits on offer. We also hope to launch a mobile under canvas experience too."

Adam Chapman, sales manager - Africa, commented: “Our market strategy for 2019/20 is to show our clients that we go beyond the expected. From amazing pre-travel merchandise such as leather-bound notebooks and Swarovski binoculars to funding conservation projects."
