Aqua Expeditions has teamed up with two of Thailand’s premier hotels to offer discounted cruise-and-stay packages.
The venture allows travellers to combine a sailing onboard five-star river cruise ship Aqua Mekong with a stay at Soneva Kiri, a luxury resort on the Thai island of Koh Kood, or The Siam Hotel in Bangkok.
Aqua Expeditions offers three, four and seven-night itineraries on Aqua Mekong in Cambodia and Vietnam and guests can opt to stay at either property, or both, before or after their cruise.
Guests can choose from twice-daily excursions, which include visits to local artisans, temples and nature reserves, including the Unesco Biosphere Reserve floating village.
Soneva Kiri has 36 vast villas and can be reached from Siem Reap via the property’s private Cessna. Despite being Thailand’s fourth-largest island, Koh Kood is its least populated and the property is famed for its organic food, authentic Thai experiences and one of the country’s best beaches. Meanwhile, 39-room The Siam Hotel is close to Bangkok’s palaces, temples and museums.
A discount of 10% applies when bookings are made combining at least two of the three brands in October and November 2017, and August to November 2018, and is valid on all room classes.
