Miami is to play a part in onefinestay’s global expansion plans with the company announcing it is to launch in the city, writes Plamena Manolova.
The city will be the third in the firm’s US portfolio - which already includes New York and Los Angeles - and the sixth globally, joining London, Paris and Rome.
Miami will be the first new city added to the list of the company’s international development since its acquisition by AccorHotels earlier this year in a deal worth more than $240 million.
Since the move, $70 million has been committed to back onefinestay’s global expansion, with the aim to spread to more than 40 cities in the next five years.
Evan Frank, co-founder and Americas president for onefinestay, said: “We’re thrilled to be introducing the onefinestay experience to Miami. The city’s vibrant, design-led community is already a favourite amongst our homeowners and guests, and it is a natural next step for us.”
The luxury home rental company accommodates guests in vetted private homes while the homeowners are away.
Guests receive a full hospitality service from onefinestay, with a 24/7 on call team, and are provided with iPhone for local calls and data on arrival.
For the homeowners, onefinestay takes care of the professional cleaning, maintenance and marketing as well as ensuring that each guest has been screened before arriving.
