Regent launches suite promotion

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has launched its latest market stimulation, with a “largest-ever suite upgrade” promotional campaign.

Travellers booking a trip will be able to benefit from Upgrade Your Horizon on all ships and all voyages, giving them a two-category bump, as far as penthouse level.

The promotion runs for bookings made until 28 February and there is also the offer of a free one-night hotel stay pre-cruise in client’s embarkation city when they upgrade to a concierge suite.

Guests on UK sailings who book deluxe window suites through to master suite level can also make use of 10% reduced deposit level (except on Grand Voyages and World Cruises).

“Following an unprecedented year, we didn’t want to limit travel options for our guests, which is why we decided to make Upgrade Your Horizon our most generous suite upgrade by opening it up to all available ships, voyages and destinations,” said Jason Montague, president and chief executive officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

All ports also already include free unlimited shore excursions, and all sailings come with flights included, dining, wines and spirits, in-suite alcohol and mini bar replenished daily, as well as unlimited internet access, laundry, gratuities, and ground transfers.

For additional incentive, the Regent Reassurance policy – which allows cancelations for any reason up to 15 days prior to departure and a 100% Future Cruise Credit – has been extended for all bookings made by 31 January, for voyages departing until 31 October 2021.

Some examples of trips where Upgrade Your Horizon could be used include the Wines, Dunes & Wildlife 15-night Cape Town to Cape Town sailing on Seven Seas Voyager (departs 6 December 2022), which includes a free three-night land programme, and sails to ports in South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique.

The range of 20 free shore excursions include discovering the Namib desert in Walvis Bay, Namibia, or learning about the Zulu way of life in the Valley of a Thousand Hills in Durban, South Africa.

Other possible cruises the promotion could be tied into include the 16-night Kangaroos, Koalas & Dragons trip that sails from Sydney on 19 January 2022 to Bali as part of Seven Seas Explorer’s maiden season in the region, which will also include sailings to New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the documentary about Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Secrets of the World’s Most Expensive Cruise Ships, will be back on TV this week.

Showing on Channel 5 at 7pm on Friday (8 January) the four episodes of the behind-the-scenes series will be repeated. The programme was filmed by ITN Productions in 2019, and follows two cruises around the Iberian Peninsula, the Bay of Biscay and Baltic Sea.
