ttgluxury has launched a hunt to find the best-loved luxury suppliers and most brilliant and creative travel agents in the land – will you be one of the lucky winners? Here’s more on the event and how to enter.
The exciting new ttgluxury Travel Awards create a platform for specialist luxury agents from the UK and Ireland to shine and be recognised by the sector’s key suppliers.
The awards aim to find winners in two agent categories: Luxury Travel Designer of the Year – an individual award – and Luxury Travel Agency of the Year, for best retail store or presence.
Luxury travel suppliers from across the UK and beyond are also called upon to put themselves forward across nine categories and will be rated by luxury-focused agents, the ones they work with day in, day out.
April Hutchinson, editor of ttgluxury, said: “The prestigious ttgluxury Travel Awards will be a reflection of the very best in the luxury sector. We hope they will be a benchmark for quality, seeking out those who innovate and deliver incredible customer service.”
On the day of the awards, ttgluxury will also announce the Contribution to Luxury Travel award. Decided by the in-house team at ttgluxury, this will be an annual award for the individual deemed to have made the greatest impact on, and within the luxury travel sector.
To host the ceremony and the big announcement of the awards on February 9, 2018, ttgluxury has partnered with Rosewood London.
Centrally located on High Holborn, Rosewood London opened four years ago and has quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest hotels in the capital, combining English heritage with contemporary sophistication.
The announcement of the winners of the ttgluxury Travel Awards 2018 will take place during a glamorous and fun lunchtime event on a Friday, so if the winners wish to continue celebrating, the weekend awaits.
All shortlisted entrants in the two agent categories will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the event. Tickets will also be available for purchase by those shortlisted in supplier categories and other guests from across the sector.

Agents in the UK and Ireland are invited to enter two categories:
Luxury Travel Designer of the Year: We want to shine a light on the very best and raise your status as an example of a truly wow-factor agent. To be eligible, you must have been operating in your current role as a Luxury Travel Designer for at least one year. All you need do is fill in a form sharing your story of business development, customer service and innovative itinerary creation. You could be a homeworker, sole trader, manager/owner, or an individual within a retail or non-retail travel business.
Luxury Travel Agency of the Year: We are looking for the most impressive store or retail presence in the UK, along with evidence of a dedicated team. To be eligible, you must have a publicly accessible retail presence and must have been operating for at least one year. You must fill in an entry form that tells us all about your retail presence, achievements and how you and the team create the best luxury travel service you can offer. An individual from a travel agency may also enter themselves for the Luxury Travel Designer of the Year category.
FOR SUPPLIERS:
Companies that work with the trade to offer luxury product may now enter for one of nine supplier categories. Once a company has entered, via a free online process, a handpicked committee of specialist luxury agents will then rate them.
