Mexico’s Velas Resorts has opened its latest resort, Mar Del Cabo, in the Pacific coast destination of Los Cabos.
The 46-suite boutique-style property, formerly Marbella Suites, has undergone a $4 million renovation and is Velas’ first hotel not to operate on an all-inclusive basis.
Mar del Cabo, located between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, offers a range of one and two bedroom suites, as well as two penthouses.
All of the resort’s suites feature either a king or two queen-size beds, mini-kitchen, terrace, separate living area and bathroom with rain shower.
Velas Resorts’ sixth property also includes a restaurant, bar, oceanfront spa, pool and outdoor event spaces.
