LVMH Hotel Management has taken over the La Residence de la Pinede in the French resort of Saint-Tropez.
Location for the latest addition for the luxury hotel division of LVMH? St Tropez, where else?
The new property, which dates back to 1936, features 36 rooms and suites, as well as offering access to Saint-Tropez’s only private beach.
LVMH has not yet announced whether La Residence will become one of its Cheval Blanc properties. The company said it would be “spending time to fully understand the property and its loyal following before making a firm decision”.
La Residence is also home to La Vague d’Or fine dining restaurant, which is run by Arnaud Donckele, who is the youngest three-starred Michelin chef in the world.
LVMH operates the Cheval Blanc Maisons and White 1921 brands of hotels around the world.
