Chef Marco Pierre White is set to judge the culinary skills of fellow celebrities in a new cookery show to be held on P&O’s Britannia.
The new show Battlechefs is being produced by Spark Media for TV channel Watch and will feature a group of 10 celebrities including Alex James from Blur, Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Eastenders actor John Partridge.
All of the contestants will get a chance to take command of Britannia’s kitchen with their efforts being judged by White.
Christopher Edgington, P&O Cruises marketing director, said: “We are very excited to be making Battlechefs on Britannia. Watch provides an ideal audience to encourage newcomers to cruising and will showcase our food ethos.
“Our cookery school on board provides the perfect backdrop for the show as the celebrities prepare speciality dishes from around the Med."
The series is being filmed during two Mediterranean cruises on P&O’s biggest ship. It will be screened on Watch during 2016.
