Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCCL) has cancelled all Canada, New England and Alaska sailings for 2020.
The company said other Celebrity Cruises itineraries - Canada/New England, Hawaii and "a few" repositioning sailings - would also be axed.
The announcement follows the Canadian government’s decision to extend its restriction on cruise ships carrying more than 100 guests until 31 October.
"We are working with public health agencies and governments to ensure a safe return to service, and look forward to setting sail from and to these destinations next year," RCCL added.
Last month RCCL said it expected to return to service on 1 August, having extended the suspension of most sailings to 31 July, with the exception of cruises in China, which will be suspended through to the end of June.
