Helping homeworkers “future-proof” their businesses will be the main theme of the Personal Travel Agents at Co-operative Travel conference later this month.
More than 100 homeworking agents will attend the conference in Cyprus over March 27-30.
The conference, themed around “Destination Future”, will include workshops exploring how agents can prepare for the coming years.
Sheena Whittle, head of the Personal Travel Agents at Co-operative Travel, said: “We’re excited about this year’s conference in Cyprus and look forward to inspiring and entertaining our homeworkers with a variety of activities and workshops, designed to help them future-proof their businesses.
“There will be an emphasis on personal wellbeing in one of this year’s workshops and we’ll also home in on ‘The Co-operative Difference’.”
The homeworking brand’s seventh conference will focus on interactivity, with agents able to book appointments with tour operators through a special smartphone app.
Held at the Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel in Paphos, the conference will also feature a gala dinner, awards and wrap up with a "big party".
Besides the hotel, sponsors include Jet2holidays, Gold Medal and Great Rail Journeys. A further 24 suppliers have confirmed their attendance.
