Agents are being encouraged to spread the message far and wide about Holiday To Help Out, as increasing numbers of suppliers sign up to the scheme with new offers to entice customers.
The Holiday To Help Out initiative is designed to kick-start the industry and drive consumers through the doors of travel agents.
The scheme will take place between 2-8 November, with suppliers offering discounts and special offers on holidays available ONLY through travel agents, as highlighted on the dedicated website holidaytohelpout.com.
TTG has produced a press release for agents to send to their local newspapers to let customers know they are participating in the scheme.
All agents are able to participate in the scheme – just download the specially created assets to use on your social media sites or use the window posters to tell customers you’re taking part in the initiative.
Since launching yesterday, TTG has been inundated with suppliers wanting to take part, with companies being added to the Holidaytohelpout.com website every hour.
The scheme has also received national press attention, including an article in The Sun.
