Franck Gervais has left his role as chief executive at Voyages-SNCF.com to take a new position at AccorHotels.
Gervais had been at Voyages-SNCF.com for nearly three years. He will join AccorHotels in November as general manager, Hotel Services Europe, with a spokesperson of the digital division of SNCF telling TTG more details will be released soon.
The move comes at a time of heightened acquisitions and brand realignments at AccorHotels, as it battles the ongoing threat of Airbnb, with Gervais likely to have been selected based on his considerable digital transformation expertise at Voyages-SNCF.com.
And according to Mobilecities.com, the chief executive of Voyages SNCF Technologies, Gilles de Richemond, will also be stepping down from the business.
