Holland America has launched its April 2016 – 17 collection, featuring new ship Koningsdam, and early booking benefits for passengers booking one of its winter cruises by October 31.
Customers making these early bookings will receive special “Explore 4” benefits, featuring four added value offers including a free signature beverage package, free dinner at the Pinnacle Grill steakhouse, reduced third and fourth person fares and 50% reduction on the deposit.
Meanwhile, passengers booking a Vista, Signature, Neptune or Pinnacle suite will receive an additional $300 onboard credit per stateroom and a free dinner at Holland America Line’s Italian restaurant, Canaletto.
The brochure will also feature the line’s new ship Koningsdam, which will be the first new ship of any major line to cruise Europe next year. The vessel will sail the Mediterranean and the Iberian coast from Rome on her maiden voyage, before then homeporting in Amsterdam over the summer.
From here, the ship will sail to the Baltic, Norway and Iceland, with a Christening cruise ending on May 20 in Rotterdam, where the ship will be officially named.
Elsewhere, Holland America will operate seven ships in Alaska in summer 2016, with the line’s ship Nieuw Amsterdam deployed in the region for the first time, offering seven-night Inside Passage cruises from Vancouver.
Eight of the line’s ships will offer 7-16 night Caribbean cruises from October 2016 to April 2017, while summer 2016 will see Veendam sailing between Boston and Montreal.
Other highlights include sailings to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, as well as four China and Japan cruises from Tokyo or Hong Kong.
The line’s new programme of Grand Voyages aadditionally features an 111-night Grand World Voyage, a 67-night Grand South America and Antarctica sailing and a 56-night Grand Mediterranean itinerary.
