Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has put its summer 2023 flights and holidays on sale nearly 18 months in advance, the earliest it has ever released a summer programme.
Details of flights and packages from six of the brand’s 10 bases have been released, with those from Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle to be revealed at a later date.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “This is the earliest we have ever put our Summer Sun programme on sale because we know that customers want something to look forward to more than ever before.
“Following the recent good news about the reopening of international travel, we have seen strong demand from customers wanting to get that all-important dose of sunshine booked in, and this Summer 23 programme helps them do exactly that.”
The programme includes more than 135 weekly flights to the Canary Islands and more than 150 each week to the Balearics, with nearly 200 weekly flights to 14 Greek destinations and almost 120 weekly flights to Turkey during peak times.
Manchester airport will offer the biggest range of destinations, with 47, including 13 in Greece, plus Sardinia, Split and Tivat in Montenegro. Birmingham will offer 43 routes and Stansted 41. Jet2 has also confirmed its programme from Belfast International, Bristol and East Midlands.
Details of further UK bases to go on sale as well as the launch of city destinations for summer 2023 will follow.
