Midlands agency Millington Travel will open a new store in Coventry next week – its largest to date.
The store, Millington’s 12th, will be located on the corner of Market Way and Lower Precinct, employing six staff.
Millington was established in 1972 and is owned by Nigel Armitage and Nick Bland. Its HQ is in Leicester.
“We have been really impressed with Coventry’s ambitious plans to regenerate the city in view of being City of Culture 2021 and believe there is huge potential going forward,” said Armitage.
“Being a strong and successful independent travel company operating in the city, we are confident we will also be a great asset to Coventry and are very much looking forward to being of service to the city.
“The store has got a great position in the centre of town and will offer a full travel service, from weekend breaks and family holidays to long-haul trips of a lifetime. A vast selection of cruising holidays will also be on offer.”
Millington employs more than 75 staff across the business.
