Travel Republic has announced a new managing director.
John Bevan, the newly appointed chief executive for all of dnata Travel Europe’s B2B and B2C trading brands in the UK, has announced Frank Rejwan in the role to lead sales, marketing, product, commercial and operations.
Rejwan will join the new senior leadership B2C team in August 2018 having held roles in and out of the travel industry including at Abercrombie & Kent, Quintessentially and Ickenham Travel Group.
Reporting into Bevan, Rejwan will join Lisa McAuley, managing director for Travel 2 and Gold Medal, on Bevan’s new dnata Travel Europe B2B and B2C leadership team.
Soon to be announced is a new managing director for the Travel Bag and Netflights brands.
Advertised from today, the new managing director will lead the trading of the retail branches and contact centres for both brands, and design and implement the growth strategy “as the business strives to capture a greater share of the UK market”.
Bevan said: “The opportunities for expansion and growth are significant for both B2B and B2C brands.
“Our brands across the board have seen strong performance to date this year and I’m excited to appoint the final member of my senior leadership team to allow us to drive these businesses forwards.”
