Aito has confirmed Jordan’s Dead Sea region as the venue for its annual overseas conference, the culmination of the association’s 40th anniversary year.
The event from November 23-28 marks the first time the association has visited the country and follows the ITT’s choice of Tel Aviv as a destination for its overseas conference. Aito chairman Derek Moore said Jordan had been described as “a quiet street in a busy area” and had much to offer “culturally, historically and scenically”.
One day of business sessions will be held and there will be opportunities to visit the Roman city of Jerash, plus Petra and the desert region of Wadi Rum. The conference hotel will be the Movenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea, but some delegates will stay in the Movenpick at Petra, around a 40-minute drive.
