TTG has pulled together all the highlights and headlines from the second day of the Abta Travel Convention in Seville.
EasyJet chief executive Johan Lundgren turned heads when he insisted EasyJet Holidays was open to working with the travel trade.
Lundgren added, in the wake of the collapse of Primera Air, that there would likely be more consolidation in the aviation sector - and more failures.
LBC broadcaster Maajid Nawaz also took to the stage to discuss how to build trust in an uncertain world on the second day of the convention, which featured a diverse array of speakers from inside and outside travel.
Abta also announced its 2019 Travel Convention would be held in Tokyo over October 7-9, coinciding with the Rugby World Cup.
