Attraction World’s managing director Simon Applebaum has taken a similar role with sister brand Day Out With The Kids.
Applebaum, one of TTG’s first Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders, moves across to Birmingham-based website Day Out With The Kids, which specialises in selling family days out in the UK.
As part of the management reshuffle, Paul Stobbs will return to his previous role of managing director of Attraction World after spending the past two years integrating Day Out with the Kids into the Attraction World group of companies following its acquisition in 2016.
“I’m excited to support the growth within our business - and it’s a fantastic opportunity to head up a team that are such brilliant ambassadors for the brand,” said Applebaum of his new role.
“I think it’s rare to work for a business where everyone totally gets the vision of the company.”
Days Out With The Kids bills itself as the “biggest website for family days out in the UK”.
The website has also made four other appointments as it looks to expand the business, including new digital content executive Dela Lozanova who has moved from parent company Attraction World Group.
Stobbs added: “Both Attraction World and Day Out With The Kids are well positioned to thrive within the rapidly growing tours and activities space.
“We have ambitious plans for both businesses and are excited about providing our customers with access to an amazing range of products, both in the UK and around the world.”
