Barrhead Travel has invested in a £90,000 revamp of its Aberdeen store to introduce new technology it says will “bring the booking journey to life”.
A private VIP room featuring smart TVs and tablets will allow the 12-strong sales team to better utilise imagery and video content around resorts, ships and aircraft, the agency says.
The store, in Union Square, welcomed 8,000 holidaymakers last year. Other upgrades include additional lighted window panels and new in-store LED lighting.
It has also been updated with new signage both in-store and outside.
Manager Lisa Kemp said: “It has been an exciting countdown to open our new and improved retail space to all our customers.
“We are big believers in creating positive experiences for our customers and I think the refurbishment is a great way to enhance the booking journey.
“Our clients now have the benefit of getting in-depth information on travel ideas through the use of up-to-date tablets and technology, before our own in-store team tailor-make their dream holiday.”
