TV survival expert Bear Grylls will give the keynote address at Travel Counsellors’ upcoming 2019 conference.
Grylls, the ex-SAS soldier turned Bafta-winning TV presenter and author, will speak in front of 2,000 delegates at the event in Manchester between Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November.
The conference will mark Travel Counsellors’ 25th anniversary across a weekend of seminars, workshops, and an awards ceremony.
The homeworking agency said Grylls would inspire its members to “push themselves out of their comfort zones, stay motivated and achieve their goals”.
Steve Byrne, Travel Counsellors chief executive, said: “Bear knows all too well the importance of self-belief and motivation, no matter the odds, in driving through success. By taking initiative and trusting his instincts, he has shown how a positive mindset can be an incredibly powerful tool.
“Throughout his career, Bear has travelled the world and showcased a wealth of destinations and extraordinary experiences, which as a company who supports our customers to explore the globe, is a theme we take to heart.
“We’re very much looking forward to Bear showcasing his unique insight and providing huge inspiration to our people, plus offering practical advice on how to stay motivated, focused and successful within their individual businesses.”
