An explosion, thought to be a car bomb, has rocked the Turkish resort city of Antalya.
The blast occurred outside the city’s Chamber of Commerce building at 8.50 local time on Tuesday morning injuring at least 15 people and causing extensive damage, according to a Turkish news agency.
Antalya is a main gateway for Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Its popularity as a tourist destination has been severely dented in the last year following attacks by various terrorist factions. A rocket attack was launched in Antalya two weeks ago, although there were no casualties.
