British Airways is getting into the romantic spirit by staffing a flight with five couples who work for the airline.
The cabin crew couples will be looking after passengers on a Valentine’s Day flight from Heathrow to Buenos Aires, where they will then enjoy a romantic break in Argentina.
Three of the couples met while working at BA, with one couple getting married in November and another recently getting engaged.
Carl and Nathan from Bristol married in November 2018 and joined the airline more than four years ago.
“We’ve been together 13 years – we work well together in every aspect of our lives, so working as colleagues onboard is no different,” said Carl.
Another BA couple, Aimee and Christopher, got engaged in December and have already worked on 17 flights together.
“We absolutely love working together and our jobs have afforded us some amazing opportunities – we’ve been on a horseback safari in Johannesburg, to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, to Niagara Falls in Toronto and wine tasting in Santiago,” said Aimee.
