Ryanair and Wizz Air have reported significant growth in passenger numbers this April.
The Irish budget carrier saw April traffic increase 5% from 12.3 million last year to 13 million this year.
Group-wide, with the inclusion of new Austrian subsidiary Lauda, Ryanair Group traffic came in at 13.5 million, up 10%.
The group completed its acquisition of Laudamotion, now just Lauda, in January.
Wizz Air, meanwhile, has posted April passenger numbers up 19% from 2.765 million last year to 3.289 million this April.
Its total capacity for April increased 17.6% from 3.043 million to 3.577 million on a load factor of 91.9%, up 1.1 percentage points.
