Celebrity Cruises has announced it is to re-introduce sailings to the Caribbean from next year.
The voyages, onboard Celebrity Equinox, are due to operate in the region between April and November.
They will replace previously scheduled summer 2017 Mediterranean cruises.
The switch marks the first time in five years the line has offered new itineraries to the Caribbean.
Celebrity has said it is contacting “all guests and agent partners” with Celebrity Equinox bookings over the summer 2017 period to assist them with finding an alternative cruise.
The change is in order “to offer summer Caribbean modern luxury cruises that are frequently requested by guests and trade partners,” according to the line.
Celebrity added that it “extends its apologies for any disappointment caused by the change”.
There will no changes to Celebrity Equinox’s 2016 cruises.
As part of the new programme, the line will operate 24 sailings - with a new President’s Cruise hosted by president, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo held in August.
Features of the Caribbean offerings will also include, a Summer Camp at Sea for children, culinary demos and ’rum and reggae’ parties.
