Celebrity Cruises has “enhanced” its UK and Ireland sales team with four new appointments.
The move follows a restructure of the line’s sales force, announced in January, with the team now the largest in Celebrity’s history.
Pauline Thomson takes the position of regional sales manager Scotland and Ireland, joining from Tui after 15 years, where she most recently held the role of retail manager.
Another new face is Peter Ryan who becomes regional sales manager South East. He joins from Thomas Cook, where he has held multiple store manager positions, notably opening and managing Cook’s first Discovery store in Westfield Stratford.
Elsewhere, Ros Nigrelli returns to the line as trade support manager, while Nicky Webb has been promoted to trade support executive.
Claire Stirrup, director of sales, Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland, said: “Our trade partners are an essential part of Celebrity Cruises’ ongoing success, and we are committed to making sure they have every opportunity to grow with us and receive the dedicated support they need.”
Meanwhile, Celebrity is giving away extra agent places onboard Celebrity Edge for the vessel’s UK debut in May with its #RaceToEdge incentive.
Every agent who makes an Edge booking by April 7 will be automatically entered into a daily prize draw to win a place on the ship during its two-night sailing from Southampton on May 13-15. Winners will be announced on the Celebrity Travel Agents Facebook page.
