Celebrity Cruises has celebrated and rewarded its agent partners during a ceremony in London.
Co-operative Travel, ROL Cruise, Oasis Travel and Travel Counsellors were among those honoured as the line held its annual Travel Agent Appreciation Awards for the third time this afternoon (January 12) at The Hospital Club.
More than 50 trade partners were in attendance at the event hosted by Dondra Ritzenthaler, senior vice president, sales, trade support and services and Jo Rzymowska, vice president and managing director for the UK & Ireland and Asia.
A total of 11 awards were presented to those who the line said had "demonstrated excellent support and performance” over the last year.
Claire Stirrup, director of sales, UK & Ireland, said: “The Travel Agent Appreciation Awards continue to go from strength to strength and are a fantastic platform for us to reward our agent partners for their exceptional hard work and ongoing commitment to supporting our business.

During the ceremony the line’s Top Cruise Specialist for Guests 2016 award was won by Iglu Cruise/Planet Cruise while the Top Cruise Specialist for Growth 2016 went to Trailfinders.
The Advantage Travel Partnership scooped Celebrity’s Top Consortia UK 2016 award, Travel Counsellors took home the line’s Top Home Working Travel Agency 2016 gong and Tui claimed Best Performing Multiple 2016.
The Top Consortia Ireland 2016 award went to Worldchoice.
Top Travel Agency Northern Ireland 2016 was won by Oasis Travel, Travel Counsellors scooped the line’s Top Travel Agency Southern Ireland 2016 accolade, Best Performer for Suite Class 2016 went to ROL Cruise, the Rising Star 2016 award went to Co-Operative Travel and Thomas Cook claimed the line’s Dedicated in Targeted Marketing 2016 award.
