Classic Collection has overhauled its Croatia programme with the addition of 24 new properties, along with a wider range of small-ship cruises and a broader choice of flight options.
The operator’s new 92-page dedicated Croatia brochure, issued in time for peaks, features 54 properties in total – nearly twice as many as the 30 its previous collection offered.
They include boutique properties, larger luxury resorts and private villas spanning 20 mainland destinations and eight island resorts, with Classic suggesting the new additions were well-suited to Croatia multi-centres.
Included too are seven small-ship cruising itineraries, and two private yacht charters, while UK flights from multiple carriers are available to six Croatian airports – Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka, Split, Zadar and Zagreb.
Classic Collection’s director of internal sales, product and commercial, Alex Gavalda, said the operator had conducted a "major product review of Croatia" in response to requests from agents and its soaring popularity.
"Our new dedicated brochure brings into focus the broad appeal Croatia exerts across all market segments," said Gavalda. "We’ve covered all hotel types, expanded our boutique offering, added private villas, and given the sort of detail on cruise options that our agent partners have requested.
"We’re confident that our investment in this increased product inventory will pay dividends in what is one of the key regions for our customer demographic."
Gavalda said some of the new properties lent themselves well to multi-centre touring holidays, combining rural stays on – for instance – a wine estate with time elsewhere on the beach or on one of Croatia’s many islands.
More historic options in Croatia’s Istria region are served by eight new hotels, while in Split, there has been a focus on adding design hotels and private villas.
Gavalda said Classic’s Croatia cruise programme had proved popular on both a shared and private basis, leading to an increase in small-ship cruising options, as well as the introduction of shorter cruise and stay itineraries of three or four nights.
A seven-night stay at the the Hotel Cavtat, departing in April, leads in from £782pp including flights, luggage, private transfers and B&B accommodation.
The brochure is available electronically from classic-collection.co.uk, while print copies can be ordered from Tradegate.
