Cork Airport has launched its 2019/20 winter programme complete with five new routes.
The first of the new routes is being introduced on 31 October when Ryanair launches its new twice weekly flight to Katowice.
It is then extending four of its new summer services serving Alicante, Budapest, Malta and Poznan for the winter season.
Cork Airport managing director Niall MacCarthy said: “We are delighted to kick off the 2019/20 winter schedule at Cork airport with passenger numbers expected to rise by 5% over the winter period.
“With over 50 routes on offer from Cork airport this year, passengers have even greater choice when it comes to travel, with airlines also serving key European hub airports that connect passengers to even further destinations around the globe.”
