Etihad will begin to restore regular scheduled flights between Melbourne and London – via its Abu Dhabi base – later this week.
The first service will depart Melbourne on Friday (15 May), arriving Heathrow (Terminal 2) shortly before midday on Saturday (16 May) after a brief halt in Abu Dhabi.
The first return flight will depart Heathrow at 1.20pm on Thursday (21 May), arriving Melbourne at 8.15pm on Friday (22 May), also via Abu Dhabi.
Etihad says it plans to maintain this link until it can fully resume its previous double-daily connection between Melbourne and London.
Flights will feature business and economy cabins. Passengers will be subject to UK and Australian entry regulations.
