First Class Holidays is inviting agents to get on board with its new “First Class Fridays” trade mail out.
The Canada specialist tour operator’s new weekly email toolkit will highlight lead deals and provide marketing materials to sell promoted itineraries.
Chief executive Dan Gathercole said the scheme was the direct result of feedback from agents.
“They told us they wanted more lead deals to entice customers,” said Gathercole. “So we created ‘First Class Fridays’.
“The toolkit gives them all the marketing materials they need to sell these trips, including window posters and downloadable social media advertising.
“We try and vary it up each week by offering something different, so you will see all our destinations being featured at affordable prices - Canada, Alaska, America, New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands - plus something different every now and again.”
First Class Holidays operates 92% through the trade, and has renewed its trade focus following Gathercole’s arrival earlier this year.
It has strengthened its trade sales team and key accounts programme, embarked on monthly catch-ups with the UK’s major consortia, and redeveloped its website with a new trade portal.
The tour operator is also planning new agent events later this year, which Gathercole told TTG would be more akin to small-scale conferences.
Agents wishing to sign up to First Class Fridays should email the tour operator's marketing team via marketing@fcholidays.com.
