Rouse joins from global travel technology provider Amadeus, where he has held several high-level roles since 2006 in research, development, product management, solution design and sales.
His most recent position at Amadeus was as programme director, where he was responsible for leading the implementation of a GDS solution for Flight Centre’s multiple brands in 11 markets.
Rouse replaces former corporate chief technology officer Pete Stephens, who joined in spring last year. Stephens was instrumental in driving forward the group’s new chatbot technology, dubbed SAM (Smart Assistant for Mobile).
